Javier Olivera

Javier Olivera is a Research Economist at the Luxembourg Institute of Socio-Economic Research (LISER) and affiliated with the departments of economics at KU Leuven in Belgium and PUCP in Peru. He holds a PhD in economics from KU Leuven, MSc from the University of Essex and BA from PUCP. His research interests include public economics, economic inequality, pensions, old age and economic demography. He has also worked at University College Dublin, University of Luxembourg and has been involved in advisory work for pension reform and social protection in Peru, Ecuador, Honduras and Paraguay.
